“Although travel has been a huge influence on my life, China being the farthest and longest time abroad, I have always been drawn to the colour and fabric of the landscape where I live. I enjoy reading and writing poetry, making sound recordings and going to Edinburgh Printmakers to make lithographs. Most of all I enjoy my time at the studio, drawing and painting. Views of the sea are always in sight and I love listening to the sea breathe.”
